Ensuite Bathroom Renovation Drumcondra, D.9
We recently renovated an ensuite in Drumcondra, Dublin. The area was spacious, similar to a standard sized bathroom in Dublin, however, not enough natural light was flooding in. Therefore, we had to ensure we made the most out of the available space through colour scheme and lighting.
After discussing with our client about what they were looking to achieve with their bathroom, we decided to install a walk-in shower as the space allowed it. Installing a walk-in shower is a great alternative to a wet room and also has easy accessibility. We installed two recess shelves as a perfect solution to avoid clutter on the shower floor and trip hazards. These shelf options are ideal and practical for ease of cleaning.
The large mirror was chosen to create the illusion of space as mirrors naturally trick us into believing the room you are in is more spacious.
Our Sharp LED Mirror enhances the lighting scheme with its latest colour temperature changing technology, allowing you to change the light from cool white to warm white at the touch of a button.

Our pink tulip metro tiles are installed on the shower feature wall to bring together the Belgrave rose vanity unit. White Carrara tiles were chosen for the floor and walls to brighten up the ensuite as the window was small with minimum natural light. As we were aware that not enough natural light was flooding in, we decided to install four spotlights. Installing spotlights ensures your bathroom is evenly lit and light is being evenly distributed to the whole bathroom.
We love installing a feature wall as it is modern and minimal. The feature wall was installed to tie in the Belgrave rose vanity unit and the white Carrara countertop to match the tiles on the floor and walls.
